This seafood recipe is a traditional dish of Portugal coast. It's quite rich, tasty and has excellent presentation. White beans, seafood, tomato, olive oil, onion. Feijoada is often made with pork, but I've also tried some wonderful seafood versions. It is the kind of dish that each family has As with a lot of popular recipes in Portugal, this dish turns relatively simple and cheap ingredients into something filling and delicious.
Bon Appetit!

Ingredients
Directions
Soak beans overnight.
In a pressure cooker with water cook the beans about 15 to 20 minutes. When the beans are cooked, drain them with a skimmer to a plate and set aside. Reserve the cooking water.
Put the olive oil, chopped onion, chopped garlic and the bay leaf in a saucepan and sauté over low heat until the onion starts to turn golden brown. Then, add the peeled tomato, cut into small pieces and cook until the tomato start to break down. Pour the beans cooking water (1 3/4 cups) and boil on high heat. When it starts boiling, reduce to low heat and add the seafood mix and the beans. Season with salt and pepper, stir with a wooden spoon and cook about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn off the heat, sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve.
